Our topic will be:  Long-Term Care Planning in a Post-COVID World

This discussion will center on the learned experiences and future outlook of home-based care delivery through the lens of a home care CEO. The presentation includes the following talking points:

• Dramatic shift toward home based care
• Traditional models of care vs. future models of care
• The benefits of a singular ecosystem of care delivery
• The value of working with a Care Manager

Our Guest Speaker will be:

Kevin Smith is the CEO and Owner of Best of Care – a family owned and operated, non-medical home care agency with locations throughout Massachusetts. Smith also serves as the President of the Home Care Aide Council – a non-profit trade association that works with state agencies, the Legislature, the media, and the general public to provide information, education and advocacy for home care stakeholders across Massachusetts. Smith lives with his family in Milton, MA.
